Getting started with Vox Pop

You ask a question and listeners answer it by voice. They don’t need an app or an account. Here’s how to get set up.

Create your account

Sign in with your Bluesky handle, or any other ATmosphere account. That’s the only way to sign in, and it means you use an account you already have instead of another password. "Where your account lives" explains how this works.

You don’t need a credit card. The free plan includes unlimited prompts and replies.

During onboarding you’ll pick a handle, like @yourshow. Your public prompts live at that address.

The core loop

It works in three steps:

Ask a question from your dashboard. This is your prompt.
Share it: paste the widget on your site, put the link in your show notes, or post it on social.
Collect replies. Listeners verify their phone number once, then record. You listen, rate, and download the ones you want.
